How to Want to Live
(When You Keep Thinking
You Want to Die)
I decided to write a book to help those who suffer from destructive or even suicidal thinking. It's something I feel is often misrepresented and misunderstood by the psychology world, where people who have never even lived through such an experience spout their theories. And an issue that is too often avoided in 'spiritual' communities.
I say this as someone who has been in your shoes. My childhood left me with a brain patterned to go to dark places when things become challenging, so I know deeply what you are experiencing.
I had thought a lot about what I wanted to say, and had many ideas and a logical structure in mind. But when I sat down to write it, I ended up going into a light trance and writing a sort of 'treatise' of over three thousand words in under an hour, what some people call 'channeling'.
The end product contains a rather unique approach to dealing with suicidal thinking, a sort of diving board back into wanting to live, that has actually even helped me since writing it!
